How many balls of YarnArt Style for a summer top?

Plan on about 5–6 balls. A short-sleeved top in fingering-weight yarn typically takes 800–1,100 m, and each 50 g ball of Style holds 185 m. Openwork or a cropped fit needs less; long sleeves, a longer body or larger sizes need more, so check your pattern's total metres.

Will a YarnArt Style top stretch after washing?

Some lengthening is normal. Viscose is heavy and drapey, and at 33% it lets the fabric relax downward, especially in loose knits. Wash and dry your swatch flat before measuring, knit the body slightly shorter if the swatch grew, and always dry the finished top flat, never on a hanger. Store it folded.

YarnArt Style vs Summer Dream: which should I choose?

Both blend cotton with shiny viscose. Style is 67% cotton and 33% viscose, a finer fingering weight with 185 m per 50 g in 30 shades. YarnArt Summer Dream is 70% cotton and 30% viscose, sport weight with 350 m per 100 g, in long colour gradients. They also work together: Style for bands, Summer Dream for the body.

Is YarnArt Style good for baby summer clothes?

Yes. Style is certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and the cotton-rich blend is breathable and smooth, so it suits light summer rompers, bonnets and sleeveless tops. The fine weight on 3 mm needles gives thin, airy fabric. Viscose can lengthen, so dry pieces flat and choose patterns that allow for a little growth.
